These "breakfasts" are very informal times of sharing thoughts and teachings that I have obtained from other Bible teachers I have known and also, my own personal studies.

All of the material is chosen to help each of us walk with the Spirit, be empowered by the Spirit, and guided by the Spirit to serve our Lord.

These are not lengthy studies and will not be edited, nor will I be correcting the video if I stumble on words, or decided to refrase them - please be patient - this is breakfast and not a formal dinner.

Bible Study & Breakfast with Rob

Breakfast #1 - Why Study the Holy Spirit?

This video/audio explains why the believer should learn what the Bible teaches about the Holy Spirit, how to correctly interpret this teaching, and why it is vitally important for each Christian to know and apply Him in his or her life.

5 important truths about the Holy Spirit are introduced and will be expanded in this ongoing series of "Bible and Breafast" studies.

This video/audio explains the Bible’s definition of a “person” and demonstrates how God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are three Persons in one unity - the Trinity.

Because human beings are made in the image of God, individual human persons possess the same characteristics that our Triune God possesses as a Person. Identifying and understanding these characteristics helps us to recognize that the Holy Spirit is a Person and not simply an invisible force.

This understanding will help you to know how to be filled/controlled and comforted by the Holy Spirit.

This special Christmas Breakfast with Rob examines the agency of the Holy Spirit in the birth or incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dr. Congdon demonstrates the unique miracle of the joining of the divine nature of God with the human nature of man in Jesus Christ.

Not only was the Holy Spirit the agent to accomplish this, but this video demonstrates that from conception, the Lord was filled with the Holy Spirit. How much more do we need the filling or control of the Spirit in our life, if the Lord Jesus Christ needed the Holy Spirit empowering Him as well?

Be sure to see our personal Christmas greeting at the end of the video.

Breakfast #4 - The Holy Spirit and Jesus'

                                      First 30 Years on Earth

Breakfast #2 - Who is the Holy Spirit?

Breakfast #3 - The Holy Spirit and the Birth

                                                   of Jesus Christ

In this fourth Breakfast with Rob, Dr. Congdon presents a study of the first 30 years of the Lord's earthly life as recorded only by Luke in chapter 2. The development of Jesus in His humanity after the incarnation will be discussed. At 12 years of age, when He was an adolescent, a significant turning point in Jesus' human development took place when He acknowledged God as His Father. How the infinite God-Man, Jesus Christ, depended upon the Holy Spirit to enable Him in His humanity to carry out God's plan and purposes for history provide an example of practical value for the believer to depend upon the Holy Spirit in his or her own life.

Join Rob as he does an exegetical study of Colossians 1:13 and determines that "kingdom" has a significantly different meaning than the one that comes to mind. The impact of its meaning will give you a new and greater appreciation of your unique relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ, if He is your Savior.

Breakfast #5 - What does "kingdom" Really

                                 Mean in Colossians 1:13?
